Job Description


Position: Sr. Customer Account Manager

Location: Vijay Nagar, Indore



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifying Opportunities:

Researching and identifying new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, or services that align with the company's goals.

  • Building Relationships:

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and other stakeholders to foster business opportunities.

Build up networking and attending events, fairs and preparation & execution of exhibitions, trade fairs to build contacts and relationships beneficial to the business.

Participating in marketing activities such as conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows to showcase products or services.

  • Strategic Planning:

Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.

Setting goals and objectives for business development and ensuring they are met.

  • Sales and Negotiation:

Pitching products or services to potential clients and closing sales deals.

Negotiating terms and conditions with clients or partners to reach mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Market Research:

Conducting market research and analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

Using market insights to inform business development strategies and decisions.

  • Risk Management:

Identifying and managing risks associated with new business opportunities or partnerships.

Developing strategies to mitigate risks and protect the company's interests.

  • Reporting and Analysis:

Providing regular reports on business development activities, progress towards goals, and market trends.

Analysing data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and initiatives.

  • Team Collaboration:

Collaborating with internal teams such as quality, PPC, logistics, product development, and finance to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.


KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • knowledge about E-Commerce & Modern Trade business model.
  • Market trends and research analysis.
  • New product development Process.
  • Microsoft Office
  • SAP

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master of business administration/PGDM in Marketing.
  • Minimum 3 to 8 years in manufacturing industry/FMCG/E-commerce industry.
