IT Compliance Role - Cyber Security (5-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.

- Monitor and analyse security alerts from various systems.

- Manage and maintain security related devices and applications that may include Firewall, Core switch, VPN concentrator, Ethereal Wireshark etc.

- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and best practices.

- Incident Management: Respond to security incidents and breaches, performing root cause analysis and remediation.

- Develop and maintain incident response plans.

- Change Management: Collaborate with IT teams to manage changes in the IT environment, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into change processes.

- Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT): Conduct VAPT to identify and address security weaknesses in applications and systems.

- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system design and architecture.

- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

- Provide training and awareness programs for employees regarding cybersecurity best practices.

- Prepare reports for management on security incidents and compliance.

Qualifications:

- 5-8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.

-Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and risk management frameworks (e. , NIST, ISO 27001).

- Experience with security tools (e. , firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM).

- Proficiency in network security, application security, and cloud security.

- Experience in incident management, change management, and VAPT methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
