Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximising client potential in designated regions and vertical segments assigned;
• Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
• Maintaining and increasing sales of company's products
• To Achieve sales target as per the plan & target
• Reaching the targets and goals set for their area
• Develop new applications & new customers in allocated areas
• Develop distribution network & distributors in allocated areas
• Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base
• Servicing the needs of their existing customers
• Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
• Allocating areas to sales representatives
• Developing sales strategies and setting targets
• Compiling and analysing sales figures
• Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself
• Collecting customer feedback and market research
• Keeping up to date with products and competitors
• Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
• Preparing daily, weekly reports for head office;
• Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects;
• Promptly collect and square up accounts receivables on sales made along with collection of C - Forms or any other statutory papers, debit or credit notes to update and conclude the total sales cycle;
• Should travel on short notice as will be needed to satisfy customers and attend the enquiry or their service needs;

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B.Tech Mechanical graduates with 12 to 15 yrs, DME with 15-20years experience in marketing engineering products, preferably Hydraulic Products such as Pumps, Motors, Valves, Cylinders used in as Hydraulic Presses, Earth Moving Equipments, Injection Moulding Machines, Mobile Cranes, CNC Machines etc.
