Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Manager to oversee all aspects of land acquisition for our projects in Odisha. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying, negotiating, and securing land for infrastructure, renewable energy, or industrial projects. The role involves liaising with government authorities, landowners, and legal teams to ensure smooth acquisition processes while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate suitable land parcels for acquisition as per business requirements.
• Conduct due diligence, including title verification, legal clearances, and feasibility assessments.
• Negotiate with landowners and other stakeholders for land acquisition and lease agreements.
• Coordinate with legal teams for drafting agreements, sale deeds, and other documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local land laws, government regulations, and environmental norms.
• Handle statutory approvals, registrations, and liaison with revenue departments and local authorities.
• Manage land acquisition budgets and financial negotiations effectively.
• Address land-related disputes, encroachments, and litigation, if any.
• Maintain accurate records of all land transactions and agreements.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, surveyors, and landowners.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in land acquisition, preferably in EPC, real estate, infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Law, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Odisha's land laws, property regulations, and government policies.
• Experience in dealing with government bodies, revenue offices, and legal authorities.
• Ability to manage documentation, legal compliance, and financial aspects of land transactions.
• Proficiency in local language (Odia) is preferred.
