Export Executive

Job Responsibilities

• • Preparing export sales quotations based on customer inquiries and following up on responses.
• • Entering customer purchase orders into the SAP system and follow up with production team to ensure timely manufacturing.
• • Knowledge of foreign transactions, including inward and outward remittances.
• • Possess expertise in customs regulations, import-export laws, and international shipping procedures.
• • Preparing and reviewing export-import documents, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and certificates.
• • Possessing strong negotiation skills and managing bookings with forwarders and CHAs to secure competitive freight rates and other cost-effective charges.
• • Ensuring accurate billing for customs fees, CHA, and shipping lines, maintaining a tracking database, and submitting weekly bills to forwarders and clearing agents.
• • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
• • Review the Export Checklist and BL Draft, providing approval to the CHA or forwarders.
• • Manage samples and courier shipments using DHL, FedEx, and UPS.
• • Resolve any export or import shipment issues by liaising with customers.
• • Keep precise records of all export-import activities and prepare regular reports for management.
• • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency in export operations.
• • Prepare and submit weekly MIS reports to management.
• • Possess knowledge of export benefits, such as RODTEP, DBK, etc.
• • Good knowledgeable in EPCG license as well as Advance License requirements and skilled in managing the associated documentation.
• • Monitor and track all import shipments to ensure timely processing, including filing the Bill of Entry and obtaining approvals for import duties and shipping charges.
• • Utilize the Advance License for import duty savings.
• • Review import documents according to the checklist and forward them to CHA or freight forwarders for processing.
• • Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport companies to ensure cost-effective transportation of goods.
• • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and authorities for smooth operations.
• • Inform the factory in advance about the arrival of imported goods at the warehouse.
• • Manage High Seas Sale (HSS) shipments and handle related documentation.
