SuperK is the fastest-growing chain of supermarkets in Andhra Pradesh, we operate franchise-owned franchise-operated supermarkets working with local entrepreneurs in small towns of India. SuperK offers a full-stack solution to empower small format retail stores in Tier 3 and below towns by providing benefits of procurement, tech systems, intelligence, and marketing at scale to create a chain of mini supermarkets.

Role & Responsibilities:

This is a full-time on-site role for a senior Business Finance Person in Bengaluru. In this role you will be responsible for:

- Financial planning (AOP), driving P&L of the organization, and building a strong Finance team

- Partnering and supporting the business in Opex vs Capex decisions and cost optimization

- Preparing financial analysis for negotiations, investment decisions, and fundraising

- Managing the preparation of the financial statements, closure of books of accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Managing relationships with Banks, Financial Institutions, Stakeholders, auditors, and Business leaders

- Providing critical accountability for all accounting-related activities; ensuring appropriate accounting and controlling across their organisation

What we would like to see in you:

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand numbers and interpret business metrics

- Good communication skills with a collaborative approach to interacting with third parties and vendors

- Strong domain knowledge in the areas of accounting, tax, and related statutory compliances

- Ability to lead the team and partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

- Hands-on experience with working on Excel and data interpretation

- Certified Chartered Accountant with experience of 4-5 Years in Retail/E-Com/FMCG industry (preferably in start-up)
