Job Description
Job Title: Operations Head - Jewellery Industry
Experience: 10+ years in Operations Management, preferably in the Jewellery industry
Industry: Jewellery / Luxury Goods
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Head to lead and optimize the operational functions of our jewellery business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and seamless supply chain management. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing, logistics, and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Oversee and streamline all operational processes, from sourcing raw materials to final product distribution.
Production & Manufacturing: Ensure smooth production workflow, maintain quality control, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Supply Chain & Logistics: Manage procurement, vendor relationships, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely availability of products.
Quality Assurance: Implement strict quality control measures and compliance with industry standards.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
Retail & E-commerce Coordination: Work closely with sales, marketing, and retail teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to drive performance and innovation.
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and ethical standards in jewellery production and operations.
Technology & Automation: Leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency, inventory tracking, and customer satisfaction.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
In-depth knowledge of jewellery production, supply chain, and logistics
Ability to optimize operations and implement process improvements
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of ERP systems and digital tools for operations management
Familiarity with jewellery industry trends, compliance, and market demands
Qualifications:
Bachelors/Master s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
10+ years of experience in operations, with a preference for candidates from the jewellery or luxury goods industry
Proven track record of managing large-scale operations and supply chain functions
