Training Specialist

As an office-based Training Specialist , you will be responsible for developing the people that make our company great. Through a mix of eLearning, in-person and virtual formats you will help develop, design, deliver and recommend, a variety of trainings, including employee orientation. Additionally, you will assist in the management of our internal Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate on the development & design of training materials and content for maximum impact on target audience

• Assist with delivery of training to employees and leadership including but not limited to new hire orientations

• Coordinate with the Training Partners in managing the LMS for both users and coursework

• Generate training reports that are user friendly and impactful

• Supporting the Training Partners and Director with administrative tasks

• Responding to manager and employee queries in relation to Learning & Development systems and platforms

• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills needed to be successful

• Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely in English

• An understanding of Adult Learning Theory and how to apply to internal training courses

• Experience with instructional design software and tools, as well as content authoring platforms

• Demonstrated experience with eLearning, virtual and in-person presentation skills

• Strong background with an LMS

• Superior interpersonal, presentation and communication skills that are well received by international employees.

• Excellent ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously

• Able to work occasional evenings to support a global workforce

Required Experience & Education

• Bachelors degree with emphasis in education, communication or related experience

• Minimum of two-year creating E-learning in authoring software

• Minimum of five years experience developing adult learning content

• Minimum of five years experience delivering classroom and/or virtual led training

• Five years experience maintaining LMS systems

Preferred Experience & Education

• HRCI/SHRM or other certifications in Human Resources or Training
