Senior Merchandiser - Menswear

We seek an experienced and dedicated Senior Merchandiser specialising in menswear to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the menswear retail sector, with 4-5 years of hands-on experience managing inventory, driving sales, and supporting production. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can multitask effectively, maintain store standards, and consistently enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management
• Monitor, manage, and maintain stock levels to meet store demand and prevent overstocking.
• Conduct regular stock audits and ensure accurate records of all merchandise.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely restocking and product availability.

• Sales and Customer Engagement
• Interact with customers, understand their needs, and assist them with personalised styling and product recommendations.
• Implement strategies to boost sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and promote customer loyalty.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support in-store promotions and sales campaigns.

• Production Coordination
• Work closely with the production team to oversee product quality, timelines, and design updates.
• Assist in the development and launch of new collections by providing insights on current trends and customer preferences.
• Ensure the menswear line maintains consistency in quality, fit, and brand standards.

• Store Maintenance
• Ensure the retail store is visually appealing and up-to-date with brand guidelines.
• Oversee the maintenance of displays, mannequins, and merchandising fixtures.
• Implement and uphold cleanliness and organisation standards to provide a premium shopping experience.

• Market Research and Trend Analysis
• Conduct market research to understand menswear trends, customer buying patterns, and competitor offerings.
• Provide recommendations to the design and product teams based on customer insights and trend forecasts.

Qualifications:

• Any degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in menswear merchandising or retail, with a track record of driving sales and customer satisfaction.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and retail software is a plus.
