Production Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

1. TAKT achievement in all WorkCentre's of ABN factory as per plan- Proactive study in view of manufacturing- Hydro, assembly, packaging for the pumps planned at ABN. Check for all the toolings required for the hydro, assembly and packaging and ensure these are available at the time of production, for the seamless production.

2. Three-shift Manpower handling maintains manpower utilization at a higher level with the achievement of planned productivity.

3. Conduct GEMBA meetings & in-time coordination with other cross functions. PPC, Warehouse, ORE, Maintenace, PM, Purchase, QC

4. Hydro, Package readiness work Co ordination & offer to QC, TPI, witness agencies

5. Stong follow up for materials for hydro, assembly, blasting, painting and packaging.. Internal follow up with Digha-Stores, planning, assembly testing, packaging and subsequent activities at ABN, PM , ORE for any support.

6. Execution of activities as per inspection schedule. & .Planning for buy out items to bring from ware house.

7. In process sub con activities plan & follow up-BLASTING/RT/ACID PICKLING

8. Planning of activity as per availability of space & make space for next order & Planning of wiring activity.&

9. Initiate PR process for the consumables, equipment's, accessories, instruments etc for day to day shop floor working

10. Shall be a strong driver of all the activities of Hydro, assembly, testing, packaging activities happening in shop floor and train the supervisors as well.

11. The position requires strong follow up commitment with various agencies, Digha Assy, testing, packaging, planning, stores, ORE, PM, customer, TPI

12. Encourage & Enhance No. Of KAIZEN, Improve 5S Implement LEAN concept.

Desired experience and qualifications

Work experience: Minimum 12~15 years of experience in rotary equipment, pump assembly, machine shop, hydro, packaging in manufacturing. Able to read machine drawings, cross section drawings

Expertise (e.g. professional, technical):

• Competent in API pumps/ compressors, manufacturing process.
• Own hand experience in assembly, hydro
• Able to understand BOM, Manufacturing drawings, GA drawings, P&IDs, GA, QAP, and data sheets.
• SAP & EXCEL.
• Manpower handling, handling union and contractors
• Familiar with Safety, EHS, 5S, KAIZEN, and LEAN concept.

Education: Level: Diploma/ BE Subject: Mechanical/Production. Certifications: - 5S/Lean desirable

Languages: English, Hindi, Marathi

Soft skills: Microsoft Office
