Position : Patent Attorney

Department: IP Intellectual Property

Duties and Responsibilities

• Drafting & Filing patent applications India and International.
• Well verse in prosecuting / responding to office actions India and International.
• Conducting hearings before IPO and with examiners in other jurisdiction.
• In depth understanding of Patent Law of India, US and EPO.
• Adept at conducting prior art searches, Patent and Non-Patent literature search, preparing patentability and invalidity opinions etc.
• Drafting and filing responses to Patent oppositions (Pre-grant & Post grant oppositions).
• Preparing counter claims, written statements, evidences, reply statement for patent revocation.
• Experience in handing patent litigation would be considered as an added advantage.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualification

• Post-graduation in Science preferably Life Sciences, Chemistry, Agricultural science etc. from leading institute
• Preferably Patent Agent, LLB optional

Experience

• 4-10 Years of Experience.
• Excellent Drafting skills.
• Detail oriented with analytical mind set and proven project management and leadership ability.
• Stable team player and strong organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent command in written and spoken English.
• Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong desire for continued growth and learning.
