Patent Drafter / Patent Prosecution Specialist

• As a Patent Drafter at Chandigarh University IPR Cell, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our innovative ideas and inventions.
• Your primary responsibility will be to draft and prepare high-quality patent applications that adhere to IP and other legal requirements.
• This position requires a strong understanding of intellectual property, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with Professors, Student, Research scholar etc and legal experts to secure intellectual property rights.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (eg, engineering, science, technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Mechanical, IoT, Robotics, AI etc).
• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in patent drafting.
• Strong understanding of patent laws and regulations in India.
• Proficiency in drafting patent claims, technical specifications, and patent illustrations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Registered Patent Agent with the Indian Patent Office (preferred).
