Engineer Tendering

The Senior Engineer Tendering is responsible for managing and coordinating the tendering process for projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards

This role involves collaboration across multiple teams to prepare high-quality bids and proposals, identify new business opportunities, and maintain documentation for subcontractor qualifications

Responsibilities

Opportunity Identification:

Utilize tender portals to identify and assess new project opportunities

Tender Preparation:

Develop and manage an overall checklist for tender compliance in collaboration with the team

Evaluate client requirements and circulate a detailed plan of action for techno-commercial submissions

Support and Documentation:

Support AMISPs as a subcontractor

Maintain qualification requirement documents for Subhasree, Cuculus, and Ubiik for direct participation and subcontracting

Bid Document Preparation:

Compile and prepare comprehensive bid documents for submission

Liaise with internal and external customers to gather necessary information and ensure alignment

Ecosystem Engagement:

Engage with ecosystem partners for quotations on bought-out items, ensuring technical compliance and viable solutions

Costing and Proposal Development:

Prepare accurate costing for bid/proposal submissions

Collaborate with Finance, Technical, Project, and Legal teams to develop high-accuracy proposals

Process Improvement:

Work with the bid manager to enhance the quality of submissions and streamline the bid response process

Organize periodic strategy meetings to ensure proposals meet industry standards

Auction Participation:

Participate in auctions as required, ensuring strategic positioning for bid success

Opportunity and Document Management:

Maintain an Opportunity Register and EQ folders in teams for tracking and reference

Prepare Sales Order Acceptance (SOA) and Budget Sheets for AMI orders



Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field

Proven experience in tendering and bid management

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficient in project management tools and software

Experience working with subcontractors and partners

Familiarity with the technical and commercial aspects of the industry
