Job Title: Tender Executive (Construction)

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tender Executive to join our team in the construction industry. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are looking to start their career in tender management and have a keen interest in construction projects. The Tender Executive will support the tendering process by assisting with the preparation, submission, and management of tender documents, ensuring compliance with specifications, and working closely with the internal team to deliver high-quality proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Documentation:
Assist in preparing tender documents, including reviewing tender specifications, drawings, and requirements.
Support the drafting and organizing of technical and commercial proposals.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
Tender Submissions:
Help in the preparation and submission of tender bids in accordance with client requirements.
Maintain a structured filing system to manage tender documents and correspondence.
Cost Estimation & Pricing:
Assist in basic cost estimation and ensure that all costs align with tender pricing guidelines.
Help gather necessary quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to support pricing strategies.
Internal Coordination:
Collaborate with the internal project team (estimators, engineers, project managers) to gather technical information for tender submissions.
Work closely with senior tender managers to review and ensure submission completeness.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
Conduct basic research on competitors, market trends, and industry standards to support the development of competitive bids.
Assist in evaluating tender opportunities and identify key decision-makers in the process.
Compliance and Documentation Control:
Ensure that all tender submissions comply with client specifications and relevant legal requirements.
Assist in tracking and maintaining records of tender submissions and results.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Up to 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally in the construction industry (fresh graduates may also be considered).
Skills:
Basic knowledge of the construction industry, tendering processes, and project lifecycle.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Attributes:
