Billing Engineer MEP

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Billing & Quantity Surveyor with expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for MEP quantity verification, contractor billing, and cost monitoring to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify contractor/vendor bills as per project scope and contract terms.
• Measure and validate MEP work quantities from drawings and site conditions.
• Maintain and reconcile project accounts, ensuring accurate documentation of executed work.
• Monitor material usage and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Certify consultant and contractor bills to ensure compliance with project agreements.
• Collaborate with procurement and project teams to optimize material allocation and billing accuracy.
• Prepare detailed measurement sheets and quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Document design changes and update budgets accordingly.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 36 years in billing and quantity surveying for MEP projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities.
