Job Description
General Manager - Finance & Accounts
Responsibilities:
- Accounting: Oversee the accounting process, including invoicing, billing, and finalizing accounts
- Taxes: Ensure the company pays taxes on time and accurately, and that tax returns are filed on time
- Auditing: Coordinate internal audits and prepare for statutory audits
- Budgeting: Prepare annual budgets and analyze variances
- Compliance: Ensure the company complies with financial regulations, including the Companies Act
- Risk management: Identify and mitigate financial risks
- Vendor payments: Oversee the process of paying vendors, including invoice verification and payment
- Financial analysis: Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
