As a Pre-Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our sales process. You will work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, develop solutions, and present proposals that address those needs. Your technical expertise, excellent communication skills, ability to create compelling sales documentation, and experience with RFIs and RFPs will be key in demonstrating the value of our services to potential clients.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential leads and conduct needs analysis to understand customer requirements and challenges
Design and propose tailored solutions that meet customer needs and address customer questions and concerns, ensuring a clear understanding of our offerings
Provide technical support and expertise during the sales process and assist in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information)
Create and deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations
Ensure timely and accurate completion of RFI and RFP documents
Develop and maintain high-quality sales materials, including presentations, diagrams, and other supporting documents
Develop and present technical proposals and proof of concepts (PoCs)
Create detailed technical documentation to support sales proposals and stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge
Build visually engaging and informative presentations to effectively communicate complex solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and create comprehensive responses
Work closely with the services teams to align solutions with product capabilities
Support the sales team in closing deals by addressing technical objections
Participate in sales meetings, workshops, and training sessions
Track and report on pre-sales activities and outcomes
Skills Required:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
Proven experience in a pre-sales, technical sales, or solutions engineering role
Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand and explain complex solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in creating high-quality sales documentation, including presentations, diagrams, and technical documents
Experience in responding to RFIs and RFPs, with a strong understanding of the processes involved
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a keen ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
