Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our journal editorial services team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the journal and editorial services industry, coupled with expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Journal Editor Officer.

This role requires strategic vision, operational excellence, and the ability to mentor and manage teams while ensuring the highest standards of editorial quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Editorial Strategy & Operations:

- Develop and implement editorial strategies to enhance journal quality, reach, and impact.

- Oversee the end-to-end editorial process, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

- Collaborate with editorial boards, authors, and reviewers to maintain scientific rigor and integrity.

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing editorial team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

- Assign responsibilities and monitor performance to ensure team goals align with organizational objectives.

Subject Matter Expertise (SME):

- Act as a thought leader in the journal editorial services industry, keeping abreast of trends, technologies, and best practices.

- Provide expert guidance to address complex editorial challenges and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and nurture relationships with authors, reviewers, and academic societies to enhance journal reputation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and technology, to drive growth and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement & Innovation:

- Identify opportunities to streamline editorial workflows through process enhancements and technology adoption.
