We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Shift Incharge to oversee CNC and VMC operations and ensure adherence to stringent aerospace standards.

Role Overview:
As a shift in charge of CNC VMC, you will play a critical role in managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the CNC and VMC machine shop during your shift. You will ensure that production schedules are met, quality standards are upheld, and the team operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Shift Management & Supervision:

• Oversee CNC and VMC operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless workflow.
• Allocate tasks to team members and monitor performance to achieve production targets.

Production Monitoring:

• Ensure adherence to production schedules and maintain high-quality output.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials, tooling, and resources.

Machine Operations:

• Supervise the operation and maintenance of CNC and VMC machines to minimize downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Work closely with the quality team to identify and address defects during the production process.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and guide machine operators and technicians, ensuring a productive and safe work environment.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance technical skills and improve operational efficiency.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, machine performance, and inventory during the shift.
• Provide shift reports to the production manager for review and planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in CNC and VMC machining, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and programming.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning tools.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
