- To attend briefings and meetings

- To polish cutlery and glasses
- To set up the restaurant
- To stock up the stations for the shift (glasses, cutlery, crockery, condiments, napkins, tea cups, tea pots, sugar bowls, black clothes, trays, etc)
- To complete daily cleaning jobs assigned (see daily and weekly cleaning schedules)
