SAP Functional Consultant I

We are seeking a skilled SAP SD/OTC Specialist with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our Application Management Services (AMS) team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Order to Cash (OTC) processes, with experience in managing and optimizing SAP solutions to support business operations. This role involves configuring and supporting SAP SD/OTC modules, handling complex issue resolution, and ensuring the effective delivery of SAP services within an AMS framework. SAP IS-Retail is added advantage.

SAP SD/OTC Configuration and Support:

• Configure and customize SAP SD/OTC modules to meet the business requirements of clients.
• Provide ongoing support for SAP SD/OTC issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SD/OTC processes with other SAP modules.

Process Optimization and Improvement:

• Analyze existing SD/OTC processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement best practices and process improvements based on industry standards and client needs.
• Support the continuous enhancement of SAP solutions to align with evolving business requirements.

Project Involvement:

• Participate in AMS projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Client Interaction:

• Act as a point of contact for clients regarding SAP SD/OTC-related queries and issues.
• Gather and analyze client requirements to provide tailored solutions and recommendations.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation to support clients in using SAP SD/OTC functionalities effectively.

Data Management and Reporting:

• Monitor and analyze SAP SD/OTC performance metrics and generate reports to track service quality and performance.
• Ensure accurate data entry and management within SAP SD/OTC to support business operations.

Compliance and Best Practices:

• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Stay current with SAP updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions.

• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution) are preferred.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP SD/OTC, with a strong background in managing and supporting SD/OTC processes in an AMS environment.
• Proven experience in configuring and optimizing SAP SD/OTC modules and handling complex issue resolution.

Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of SAP SD/OTC modules, including order management, pricing, billing, and sales processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Experience in managing SAP SD/OTC projects and working within an AMS framework.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting within SAP systems.
• Hands on experience in Integration with third party applications (Navision) and other third party applications.
