Senior Network Engineer - Protocols & Architecture (9-12 yrs)

A Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting customer network environments.

Individual must ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of the customer network infrastructure.

This position involves working with various networking technologies and protocols to support Stefanini's customer's operational needs.

Will be heading up a Team of L2 and L1 engineers assigned to the project and will be responsible for BAU operational activities and will be a part of the escalation matrix.

He will be engaging in working closely with the OEM, and stakeholders to support the organization's business objectives through robust and scalable network solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements.

- Develop network architectures, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and other network segments.

- Oversee the installation, configuration, and integration of network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

- Work on SDN technologies like SDWAN, ACI, and DNA.

- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.

- Conduct regular network maintenance, upgrades, and patches.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems.

- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.

- Should engage in security and vulnerability assessments.

- Will be part of the escalation matrix and will participate in the mitigation of Incident and priority escalation calls.

- Maintain detailed network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, Runbooks, SOPs, and procedures.

- Provide regular reports on network performance, usage, and incidents.

- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.

Qualifications :

Education :

- B-Tech in CS/ECE/EE will be preferred.

- CCNA, CCNP.

- Cloud certification in AZURE will be a plus.

- Knowledge of ITIL Processes is desired.

Experience :

- 9+ Years in relevant technology/Domain.

- Exposure within the Service Industry with multiple customer BAU/Operations handling experiences is desirable.

Technological Skill Set :

- SDWAN (Viptela) Hands-on Experience.

- Cisco ACI Hands-on Experience.

- Cisco DNA knowledge.

- Load Balancer (F5) good knowledge is desired.

- Cisco ISE.

- Firewall (Cisco Fire Power, Palo Alto Firewall, Panorama).

- Cisco WLC and Wireless.

- Aruba Wireless.

- Good Knowledge of VPN on IPSec and SSL VPN, DMVPN, and GRE.

- In-depth knowledge of Routing Protocol (BGP, OSPF, etc.

- Cisco Access/Core/Stack Switch, Cisco ASR/ISR Router.

- Cisco catalyst switches, Switch Stacking, Nexus Switches, Arista Switches.

- Monitoring ToolsSolarwinds, Nagios, Prtg, etc.

- Azure knowledge will be a plus.
