Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Migration Consultant with a strong background in Veeva Vault R&D applications and cloud-based solutions for life sciences companies. As a key member of our team, you will lead the migration of documents and data from legacy systems to Veeva Vault, ensuring seamless and efficient implementation. You will be responsible for guiding migration tool development, providing expertise on the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, and mentoring junior team members. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for leading migration solutions, mentoring teams, and working on innovative projects in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead migration implementations for Veeva Vault R&D applications, focusing on migrating documents and object data from legacy systems such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, or SharePoint.
• Provide subject matter expertise on the ETL process, ensuring smooth migration from legacy systems to cloud-based Veeva Vault solutions.
• Guide the development of migration tools and best practices, ensuring high-quality solutions.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering knowledge transfer and ensuring adherence to best practices in migration activities.
• Build and contribute to a migration knowledge base, enhancing tools and methodologies for efficient execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, aligning with business objectives and timelines.
• Engage with senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, managing customer expectations and providing technical guidance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in document/content migration and database migration, specifically with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Trackwise).
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Expertise in migration tool development and the ETL process.
• Strong consulting background, with proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is highly desirable, especially in Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processes.
• GxP Knowledge: Familiarity with GxP regulations and software validation processes is a plus.
• Migration Tools: Experience with migration verification tools such as fme is an advantage.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Proven ability to lead teams and manage customer expectations while driving successful project outcomes.
