Operation Research Scientist (Contractual)

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and apply mathematical models to improve efficiency in logistics, inventory management, production, and pricing.
• Utilize linear programming, integer programming, heuristic solutions, simulation, and optimization techniques to solve large-scale problems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to

implement model-driven solutions.

• Communicate findings and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Masters or Ph.D. in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with optimization techniques (e.g., linear programming, mixed-integer

programming) and simulation.

• Proficiency in Python or R programming language;
• Experience with optimization libraries (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi, COIN-OR, PuLP, ORtools etc.) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience.
