Role Overview :

We are seeking a talented Android Developer to work on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Android frameworks, Java/Kotlin, and a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem. This role offers flexibility with a hybrid work model, giving you the best of both in-office collaboration and remote work.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Android applications using Java and Kotlin.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to define and implement features.

- Work on app performance optimization and debugging.

- Implement robust and scalable mobile app architectures.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Android development.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high code quality.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

- Participate in agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Ensure the security and privacy of applications and user data.

- Contribute to the app's UI/UX development to ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience (3+ years) in Android app development with a strong portfolio of released apps.

- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages.

- Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android development best practices.

- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with web services.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

- Experience working with Android frameworks such as Jetpack, Room, LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, etc.

- Understanding of Material Design guidelines.

- Knowledge of unit testing, UI testing, and automated testing tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize code.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
