Android Developer - Java/Kotlin (4-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

- Implement and optimize architectural patterns like MVVM, MVP, or MVC for scalable, maintainable, and testable code.

- Apply multithreading and async programming techniques to optimize apps for low-latency, real-time performance.

- Integrate Firebase services like Cloud Messaging, Analytics, and Crashlytics for app monitoring, performance improvement, and a better user experience.

- Ensure smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, backend engineers) for seamless user experiences.

- Contribute to building and maintaining a portfolio of published applications on the Google Play Store.

- Stay updated with the latest Android SDKs, libraries, and best practices in mobile development.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

- Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3+ years of professional experience in Android development using Java and/or Kotlin.

- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Java/Kotlin, and Android Studio.

- Experience with common Android libraries and frameworks (Retrofit, RxJava, Dagger, Room).

- Experience with UI/UX design principles and best practices for Android.

- Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills & Experience :

- Experience with Firebase services (Authentication, Realtime Database, Storage).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).

- Experience with performance optimization and memory management techniques.

- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines
