Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :. Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin, adhering to best practices and industry standards. Implement and optimize architectural patterns like MVVM, MVP, or MVC for scalable, maintainable, and testable code. Apply multithreading and async programming techniques to optimize apps for low-latency, real-time performance. Integrate Firebase services like Cloud Messaging, Analytics, and Crashlytics for app monitoring, performance improvement, and a better user experience. Ensure smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, backend engineers) for seamless user experiences. Contribute to building and maintaining a portfolio of published applications on the Google Play Store. Stay updated with the latest Android SDKs, libraries, and best practices in mobile development. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers. Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools. Required Skills & Experience. 3+ years of professional experience in Android development using Java and/or Kotlin. Strong understanding of Android SDK, Java/Kotlin, and Android Studio. Experience with common Android libraries and frameworks (Retrofit, RxJava, Dagger, Room). Experience with UI/UX design principles and best practices for Android. Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. Experience with version control systems (Git). Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desired Skills & Experience. Experience with Firebase services (Authentication, Realtime Database, Storage). Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD). Experience with performance optimization and memory management techniques. Experience with Kotlin Coroutines. (ref:hirist.tech).
