Job Description: PR Manager

Position Overview:

- We are looking for a skilled and proactive Public Relations (PR) Manager to lead our communications efforts and enhance our brand image. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of media relations, storytelling, and strategic communication. This role involves crafting compelling narratives, managing media interactions, and building relationships with key stakeholders to drive positive brand awareness and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Media Relations:

- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.

- Secure media coverage in print, online, and broadcast channels.

- Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries.

2. Content Development:

- Craft press releases, media kits, bylined articles, and other PR materials.

- Develop compelling stories that align with the company's goals and values.

- Collaborate with content and creative teams for integrated messaging.

3. Strategy & Planning:

- Design and execute comprehensive PR strategies to achieve business objectives.

- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to refine messaging.

- Identify opportunities for thought leadership and brand positioning.

4. Event Management:

- Organize press conferences, media briefings, and brand events.

- Coordinate influencer collaborations and sponsorship opportunities.

5. Monitoring & Reporting:

- Track PR campaign performance and media coverage.

- Provide reports on coverage impact, sentiment analysis, and ROI.

- Use insights to optimize future PR activities.

6. Collaboration:

- Work closely with marketing, social media, and leadership teams for unified communication.

- Manage relationships with PR agencies and third-party partners.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in a managerial role.

- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.

- Proven track record of successful media placements and campaigns.

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in crisis management and reputation-building initiatives.

- Knowledge of digital PR and online reputation management.

- Background in working with global or multi-industry brands.
