Weaving Supervisor - Job Description

The Weaving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the weaving department in shift, ensuring that all weaving processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves managing workers, maintaining equipment, overseeing quality control, and working closely with other departments to ensure production targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily weaving operations.
• Ensure production schedules are adhered to and met.
• Maintain high quality standards and ensure all products meet company specifications.
• Manage and lead the weaving workers, providing training and development as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure all weaving equipment is functioning properly.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols and practices within the department.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the weaving process.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production flow and resolve any interdepartmental issues.
• Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Textile Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in weaving or textile manufacturing.
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of weaving processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
