We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator to manage and maintain PeopleSoft environments in a cloud-based infrastructur
The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling monthly/quarterly patching, code migrations, tax updates, and job monitoring. This role requires experience in managing US-based customers and flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including graveyard shifts.
Responsibilities :
- Perform PeopleSoft Cloud maintenance activities, including monthly and quarterly patching, PUM Image updates, and fixed deployments.
- Manage PeopleSoft code migrations across environments, ensuring compliance with change control processes.
- Implement and test Tax Updates to keep systems compliant with regulatory changes.
- Monitor PeopleSoft Jobs, Process Schedulers, Web Servers, Application Servers, and Database Servers, troubleshooting issues proactively.
- Work with DBAs, Developers, and Functional Teams to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of PeopleSoft applications.
- Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Provide L2/L3 support for PeopleSoft applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system architecture and cloud migration strategies.
- Ensure security best practices are followed for PeopleSoft environments.
- Manage incident, problem, and change management processes following ITIL best practices.
- Work closely with US-based clients and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Flexible to work rotational shifts, including night shifts (graveyard shifts) as per business requirements.
Requirements :
- 7+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator.
- Strong expertise in PeopleSoft Cloud Maintenance, including patching, tax updates, and code migrations.
- Experience in PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), DPK, and People Tools upgrades.
- Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Administration tasks (installations, configurations, tuning, and troubleshooting).
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft Application Server, Web Server, and Process Scheduler Administration.
- Experience working with US customers and managing production environments.
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Oracle Cloud, Azure, etc. ) for hosting PeopleSoft environments.
- Strong understanding of Oracle databases, SQL tuning, and performance troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global team.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including graveyard shifts.
- Experience with PeopleSoft on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for PeopleSoft environments.
- Knowledge of automation tools for patching and environment management.
- Exposure to PeopleSoft Security and Role Administration.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
