Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Sales Growth Champion: Drive significant revenue and market share growth for Hitachi's FACTS applications within the Indian market, prioritizing customer satisfaction and exceeding sales targets.

- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive market-based sales strategies that target both EPC channels and direct project sales, focusing on both short-term and long-term business objectives.

- Building Key Relationships: Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with key influencers, clients, and EPCs throughout the Indian market, effectively promoting Hitachi's FACTS application and securing new customer opportunities.

- Target Setting & Execution: Define and achieve ambitious sales targets through meticulous planning and strategic execution.

- Develop customized customer solutions that align with both technical and financial considerations.

- Market Intelligence & Analysis: Leverage market research and competitive intelligence to inform pricing strategies, optimize automation processes, and drive continuous technological improvements.

- Closing Major Deals: Lead and manage complex negotiations for large-scale, international contracts, ensuring successful deal closures.

- Customer Centricity: Champion a customer-centric approach, fostering top-tier customer satisfaction through proactive account management and nurturing long-term relationships.

Qualifications:

- Proven Sales Leadership: Extensive experience and a proven track record of success in leading and motivating high-performing sales teams within a B2B technical environment.

- Strategic Acumen: Strong strategic thinking and planning skills to develop and execute comprehensive market-driven sales strategies.

- Relationship Building Expertise: Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills to cultivate strong partnerships with key decision-makers in the Indian market.

- Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) applications and their role in the power transmission industry (a plus).

- Negotiation Prowess: Demonstrated success in leading and finalizing complex negotiations for large-scale international contracts.

- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to leverage market intelligence and data analytics to inform strategic sales decisions.

- Customer Focus: A passion for customer success and a commitment to providing exceptional account management and relationship building.
