PLM Business Consultant

PLM Business Consultant with an excellent understanding of Retail (Fashion & Apparel) Technology and Business Processes, interested in working closely with leading global fashion brands to implement state-of-the-art Centric Planning platform.
Candidates with UG / PG qualification in Computer Science / Fashion Technology with a desire to leverage their Retail (fashion and apparel) domain expertise to improve and optimize customer business processes through software applications.

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate and collaborate with customer implementation teams and Centric teams to ensure a successful and referenceable delivery.
• Analyze customer business process requirements as a basis to propose Centric PLM Solutions.
• Produce written specifications (i.e. UML models, Centric 8 configurations) to capture business process requirements for proposed solutions and configuration activities.
• Analyze requirements and design solutions to address customer business scenarios within the product scope.
• Ensure clear understanding of customers technology requirements; provide support for Proposal and Project teams, provide technical leadership and vision to win and deliver large-scale, complex solutions.
• Provide input into future solution functionality, implementation methodology and configuration standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Fashion Technology or similar qualifications with 5+ years of Industry experience in Retail Planning.
• Strong consulting background and customer-facing skills.
• Collect, understand, challenge and communicate the business requirements for the project, translating these into functional specifications.
• Define the configuration and data requirements to meet the required business processes.
• Assist in the preparation system test and validation plans.

Other Skills

• Excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge on database queries (MS SQL Server)
• Knowledge of Planning applications at a strategic and operational level
• Track record in consultancy within the IT / Merchandising / Supply Chain planning.
• Experience in Planning Management systems and tools implementation.
• Previous business and implementation experience
• Power BI knowledge (Dataset modelling and Dashboard design)
