Job Overview: At Space Palette, we are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and manage the financial aspects of our interior design and build projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be essential in overseeing cost estimation, budgeting, and tender processes to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate BOQ, quantity take-offs and cost estimates for interior design projects
• Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine material and labour requirements
• Develop and submit comprehensive tenders, including pricing and project proposals
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial constraints
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising design integrity
• Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations for mitigating cost-related risks
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial feasibility and adherence to project timelines
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify work completion

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Quantity Surveying and cost management in interior design or construction
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, materials, and methods (Interior fit outs)
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively
