General Manager
Job Overview
We are looking for an General Manager(GM)- Hotel Southern Grand. He will be a professional responsible for the overall operation and management of a hotel or lodging establishment. Which includes overseeing the daily operations, managing staff and ensuring guests have a positive experience during their stay.
Responsibility
Job description-
1) Oversee the operations functions of the hotel.
2) Achieving sales targets and getting Room , Banquet & Food sales is most important task.
3) Corporate client handling and take part in new client acquisition along with the sales team whenever required.
4) Hold regular briefings and meetings with all head of departments.
5) Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards.
6) Ensure timely compliance of all reports from accounts and other departments.
7) Ensure timely Statutory Compliance.
8) Handling of all Guest complaints.
9) Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
10) Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and management.
11) Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long term strategic goals for the property.
12) Developing improvement actions carry out costs savings.
13) Closely monitor the hotels business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.
14) Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Admin & General, on target and accurate.
15) Ensure that monthly Inventory of all departments both physical and system is in place.
16) Maximizing Room , Banquet and Food sales through innovative sales practices and yield management programs.
17) Helping in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment, and contracting with third-party vendors for essential equipment’s and services.
18) Act as a final decision maker in hiring a key staffs in consultation with Management.
19) Coordination with HOD's for the execution of all activities and functions.
20) Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis.
21) Manage and develop the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and development.
22) Be accountable for responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of all guest complaints.
23) Provide effective leadership to hotel team members.
24) Lead in all aspects of business planning.
25) Responsible for safeguarding the Assets

Qualification
A university degree in hotel management or a related field with Experience
Salary : 40,000 to 70,000
