Role & responsibilities

  • Account Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to provide strategic insights and guidance to the executive team.
  • Negotiation and Sales: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers and partners while delivering compelling sales presentations.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth
  • Drive sales by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective client engagement and negotiation.
  • Business Development
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base and increase market presence.
  • Identify and onboard potential clients by showcasing product value and building trust.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the foodservice industry, with a focus on B2B sales.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Act as a point of contact for customer queries, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis and Product Promotion
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Promote products effectively by showcasing their benefits and features tailored to client requirements.
  • Reporting and Coordination
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Run pre-Launch marketing initiatives for business generation by: - Coordinating with Marketing Team to identify suitable areas and tools to ensure visibility and generate enquiries. - Ensuring POP materials are in place as per Pre Sign off discussion.
  • To complete sales administration and compliance by: - Managing and updating Lead Management System. - Meeting daily market visit norms. - Ensuring daily visit reports and funnel management - Validating KYC of the prospective channel partner and subsequent submission to HO to ensure sign off of MOU and Agreement.
  • Develop, Execute and oversee a business strategy that prioritize growth and positive ratings.
  • Responsible for Lead Management.

Preferred candidate profile

MBA Graduate with 4-8 years of experience in Business Development, inside sales and FMCG sales.
