Solution Engineer

The suitable candidate will be an excellent addition to our team of global Core Solutions Engineers. The opportunity with this position is to provide advanced skills in the areas of IP V4/V6, Fire Walls, Cloud Core technologies, based on Nokia NCS/NCP/OCP with a focus on design/deploy/integrate SDM and troubleshoot complex issues in a lab environment in real-time.


 HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN 

Review 5G/4G Telco Cloud solutions requirements

Contribute to Cloud Core solutions in a lab environment with a focus on one of the areas:

Design/Deploy/Integrate and test SDL/PGW/SDLA/HSS/UDM. Configuration management, advanced troubleshooting and operational support is essential.

Architecture and Implementation of a large-scale IP network for Data Centers with sound cyber security policies.

Provide expert level competence in protocols:SIP, Diameter, LDAP, TCP/IP/SCTP, UDP, SOAP, HTTP2, SS7, M3UA, 5G Signaling

Actively participate and resolve complex Cloud Core issues with advanced troubleshooting skills.

Willing to learn new technologies and domain associated with telecommunications

Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills

 KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

Minimum BS in Engineering

A strong individual contributor with 5+ years of 5G/4G Core solutions

Hands-on cloud core experience in design/deploy/integration of SDM. Or,

Subscriber configuration management, operations and troubleshooting complex use cases

Prior experience with design/deploy/integration of Network Functions in Nokia and RedHat Cloud Core solutions is a plus

Strong experience and understanding of 4G,5G Cellular Networks (LTE, NR in Core domain)

Expert level Certificates in Public Clouds/K8S would be plus

Excellent Knowledge of 3gpp call flows of 5G/4G, IP routing and/or telco cloud solutions

Strong analytical and debugging skills in troubleshooting of complex Telco Cloud Solutions

Excellent Listening Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated to learn the skills needed and get tasks completed efficiently and with high quality

Proven excellent team player in a diverse team
