Stores Executive

The Stores Executive will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of materials, coordinating dispatches, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams for smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Maintain and update stock records to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
• Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification of materials.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.

Material Receipt & Dispatch:

• Receive materials from vendors, suppliers, or warehouses, verifying quantities and quality.
• Oversee the dispatch of materials to project sites or other locations as required.
• Maintain proper documentation of inward and outward materials.

Coordination & Reporting:

• Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams for timely material availability.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure the required materials are available when needed.
• Prepare and submit inventory reports, stock movement reports, and reconciliation statements.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with storekeeping best practices and safety regulations.
• Implement proper housekeeping and material handling procedures.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or damages in stock.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in stores management, warehousing, or inventory control.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage stock efficiently.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory tracking tools.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in construction, solar energy, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Knowledge of material handling, logistics coordination, and safety standards.
