Detailed description

• Check availability of material as per daily work planning / indent .
• Ordering of required material in F.G stores
• Define clearly location for storage of material.
• Identification and tagging of all materials.
• System of maintaining material storage with respect to raw material shelf life and those materials with special storage conditions etc.
• Maintain online stock register daily in SWAN.
• Take physical stock of items monthly as per guidelines from HOD & report variance if any.
• Handover the material to requisitioner.
• Monitor quantity check activity from previous department & report the variance if any.
• Disposal of material after approval from HOD.
• Proper identification of rejected material
• Reconcile physical stock with stock register and inform HOD in case of discrepancies.
• Raise issues related to material shortages or quality of material etc. to HOD and get it solved
• Inform sales dept about slow /non-moving material on periodic basis
• Planing of dispatches with sales department
• Handling of Manpower
• Basic knowledge of EXCEL, WORD etc.
• Preparation of packing list
• Maintain FIFO in F.G stock
• Monitoring of loading, unloading of material
• Ensure overall housekeeping is maintained
• Submission of MIS with respect to all F.G stores in an agreed format
• Effective utilization of ERP should be done.
• Follow and monitor all compliances with respect to ISO, ASME, CE, Safety, 5'S and other certifications.
