• Receiving materials: Ensuring that materials arrive at the construction site and are checked for damage
• Storing materials: Stacking and storing materials safely and appropriately
• Issuing materials: Ensuring that materials are issued accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of materials received, stored, and issued
• Maintaining documentation: Keeping log books, entry and exit registers, and delivery and dispatch registers
• Ensuring quality and quantity: Ensuring that the quality and quantity of materials are maintained
• Initiating purchase requisitions: Requesting replacement materials when needed
