Stores Assistant

Role & responsibilities

• Stocks the materials received from vendors properly as to ensure easy access identification, verification and handling.
• Ensures proper stocking of materials by using appropriate method of care and preservation to avoid any damage and loss.
• Carries out periodical physical verification and asses the stock position.
• Ensures materials are issued smoothly to the internal department.
• Ensures received and issued materials are accurately accounted.
• Maintains receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stock.
• Ensures all the necessary documents are provided along with the material outward
• Ensures that the store is always maintained up to date in all aspects in a presentable condition.
• Prepares and maintains records of the store inventory

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in any field
• Fresher or minimum 1 year experience as a Store Asst/keeper.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
