Vice President Delivery

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic VP of Delivery to lead the successful execution and delivery of software solutions for our Business and Government clients. This position will oversee project execution, client satisfaction, resource planning, competition tracking and operational efficiency to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of solutions that align with client expectations and business objectives.

1. Delivery Management:

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of software solutions, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality project execution.
• Develop and implement best practices, delivery frameworks, and processes for software project management.
• Ensure alignment of delivery with business goals, client needs, and organizational strategy.

2. Client Relationship Management:

• Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, ensuring strong relationships, proactive communication, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and technology teams to align delivery outcomes with client requirements.
• Address escalations effectively, providing solutions that balance client interests and business objectives.

3. Resource and Capacity Planning:

• Manage resource allocation across multiple projects to ensure optimal utilization and timely delivery.
• Forecast capacity needs
• Mentor and develop high-performing delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

4. Operational Excellence:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, delivery timelines, and cost optimization.
• Implement KPIs and metrics to monitor project health, quality, and team performance.
• Champion Agile delivery methodologies, project governance frameworks, and industry best practices.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with product management, engineering, and senior leadership to ensure alignment of delivery plans with business priorities.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

3. Capability to do Resource and Capacity Planning:

• Forecast capacity needs
• fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

4. Should possess skills for Operational Excellence:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, delivery timelines, and cost optimization.
• Implement KPIs and metrics to monitor project health, quality, and team performance.
• Champion Agile delivery methodologies, project governance frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Have knowledge of CMMi processes

5. Stakeholder Collaboration experience :

• Work closely with product management, engineering, and senior leadership to ensure alignment of delivery plans with business priorities.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Demonstrates expertise in project and program management. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe); Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe Agilist) preferred.
• Exposure to DevOps: Integrates development and operations for continuous delivery and deployment.
• Advantage if knowledge of Lean methodologies, which Focuses on eliminating waste and improving efficiency in product delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and balance competing priorities.
• Knowledge of cloud-based software solutions, software development practices, and technology platforms.
• Must have experience in large enterprise solution design and implementation
• Has seen Modelling with UML 2.0 & CASE tools in general.
• Having the judgment necessary to choose the best solution to complex problems.
• Detailed practical understanding of project processes.
• Good presentation and facilitation skills.
