Job Title : Technical Architect.

Job Location : Hyderabad / Mohali / Kochi.

Experience : 10 - 14 years.

Summary of position :

- The position holder will be responsible for end-to-end solution design.

- They will have a good understanding working across all facets of architecture: Application, Data, Security, Infrastructure & Business.

- This role will be part of the Enterprise Architecture team and will have the opportunity to work in a green field environment and set the foundations for the future state architecture.

- The position holder will be instrumental in shaping the design of HJs Azure solutions as we look to transform the way our applications and digital services connect and share information.

- A strong understanding of Azure PaaS, containerization and API Management will be needed to ensure robust, cost-effective, secure and scalable solution options are created.

- They will be responsible for understanding and translating business, technical, functional, and non-functional requirements into the solution design artefacts to enable developers and testers to create efficient and reliable IT solutions.

- This position will report into Enterprise Architect.

Duties and responsibilities :

- A strong understanding and practical experience in planning and delivering cloud migration projects.

- Strong understanding of traditional monolithic, cloud-native and mobile architectures.

- Design various architectural layers (Conceptual and Solution Architecture Documents) for targeted programs, with an emphasis on Infrastructure, Application, Data, Security and Business Architecture.

- Engage in architecture governance, review boards and working group meetings to gain approval for solutions, standards, and design patterns.

- Contribute to the development of business cases and request for proposals.

- Update and maintain the Enterprise Repository with architecture revisions.

- Assist projects by identifying and managing risks and issues early in the process.

- Support the planning, implementation, and migration of applications and infrastructure services.

- Oversee architectural governance throughout the design, construction, and operational phases.

- Provide direction to technical teams to ensure detailed designs adhere to the target architecture, standards, and patterns.

- Ability to work in an Agile environment.

- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Other Vendors and various other Business Stakeholders.

- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Contribute & expand on established integration principles, patterns and standards that will govern the approach to application and data integration.

- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of integration solutions, ensuring functional and non-functional objectives are met.

- Demonstrated knowledge of TOGAF (nice to have).

- Microsoft Azure certifications (nice to have).

Required Skills :

- Extensive experience in creating end-to-end highly available solution designs for Azure cloud.

- Knowledge of common programming languages such as C#, Node.js, Java etc.

- Experience in building solution design for mobile apps.

- Strong technical acumen in Azure Container Apps, CosmosDB, Service Bus, Blob storage, SQL Server, Entra ID, VNets, WAF, Redis, Event Grid, Azure API Management and DevOps.

- Experience with fine/coarse grained APIs and Microservices with emphasis on performance and security.

- Create detailed architecture designs, including system diagrams, data flows, and deployment models.

- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta or Thales as well as logging and monitoring.

- Experience completing and delivering Conceptual and Solution Architecture documents.

- Ability to present and communicate both business and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience with business and technical requirement analysis, business process modelling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping.

- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to design and manage complex cloud infrastructures.

- Knowledge of AWS (nice to have).

Nice to have :

- Experience in EA tools such as Hopex, Ardoq, iServer, Abacus etc.
