Job Description
- Ensure regular maintenance of the firewall, switch, wireless access points, CCTV, and Access door device.
- Securing the organizations network work perimeter by identifying the gap and applying the network controls.
- Planning, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading network security measures, policies, and controls.
- Assessment of existing security systems and report to the next level and apply the fix
- Perform periodic Testing of the organisation s network and connected systems from a network security point of view.
- Be aware of the latest threats in the network and security domain to guide and advise the organization regarding the upgrade required.
- Ensure the availability of critical network assets and services like ISP, Firewall, Core Switch, Wireless Access points, etc.
- Ensure the Network services available 99.5% during the business hours
- Ensure the timely maintenance and backup of the network assets.
- Design and manage the IPsec and SSL VPN services.
- Understanding of the Zero trust network access model.
- Track the changes and make them available for future reference.
- Maintain the SLA, through timely responses and resolution to the tickets assigned.
- Ensure regular patch management of all the network and security and related systems.
- Prepare & maintain documentation and technical specifications for future audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers and vendors during the maintenance plan and on other activities.
- Monitor the network service availability using the NMS Tool.
- Network devices inventory management
- Leading efforts to counter security breaches and anticipating and reducing the likelihood of future security alerts, incidents, and disasters.
- Controlling the spent on network and security tool licensing, and Keeping track of the subscription to make sure the subscriptions are renewed on time
- Maintaining the Network and security layouts and related documents, that s including ISP, WAN, LAN, Wireless
- Reporting the security analysis and finding if any to IT Head
- Verify and coordinate network and security plans with outside vendors during the projects and ensure future support.
- Support for creating procedures for IT employees and training them in Network security awareness.
