Job Description
- Report to the Incident Response Team quickly and efficiently regarding urgent matters.
- Ensure ticket queues are always within satisfactory limits and all tickets are updated.
- Meet SLAs and ensure timely closure of tickets
- Creating and maintaining new SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Should have Knowledge in SOC advancements such as SOAR and have experience in handling alerts and playbooks in XSOAR.
- Awareness of frameworks such as MITRE ATTCK and NIST and how they can be applied effectively within an enterprise would be advantageous.
- Use the internal ticketing system and dashboards to update the tickets/alerts accordingly and escalating them to the appropriate teams if necessary.
- Experience leveraging core security and infrastructure technologies during investigations (e.g. firewall logs, network security tools, proxies, IPS/IDS) Key Competencies.
- Investigate malicious phishing emails, domains and IPs using and recommend proper action
- Implementation, installation and commissioning of the RSA Netwitness SIEM tool.
- Upgradation of RSA Netwitness
- Creating and fine-tuning correlation rules and advanced correlation rules.
- Report Generation Daily, Monthly, Weekly reports and share with Security Head & Respective Infra Owners
- Meet SLAs and ensure timely closure of tickets
- Develop and maintain operational manuals
- Creating and maintaining new SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Prepare Monthly Executive Summary Reports for managed clients and continuously improve their content and presentation.
- Experience leveraging core security and infrastructure technologies during investigations (e.g., firewall logs, network security tools, proxies, IPS/IDS)
