Mineral Process Sales Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Head with 10 to 15 years of combined sales and technical service experience in the mining industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in chemical applications for mineral processing, including but not limited to alumina, iron, and coal. This role aims to drive the mining business of SNF in India in a fast-growing environment while managing a multifunctional team covering both technical and commercial areas. The right candidate should have the capability to develop and achieve $100M sales in coming years with proven management skills (hiring, motivating, developing, retaining). The role requires a deep understanding of customer requirements and the ability to effectively demonstrate SNF products through onsite lab and industrial trials.Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsible for managing and growing Mining business in India
• Develop sales & marketing strategies along with India management for continuous business growth in Mining segment
• Lead and direct a team of sales and application engineers to achieve business goals and financial targets
• Directly responsible for achieving sales targets via assertive and forward-looking actions to acquire and develop new customers and growth
• Retain current customers and motivate them to further grow existing business and explore opportunities in new potential mining applications
• Conduct extensive market research and contribute to the development of new services & products based on industry trends and customers feedback and personal experience
• Implement continuous sales performance evaluations and improvements, to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and retention
• Provide leadership to Vizag Mining technical centre for developing technical solutions to customers and develop newer applications
• Bring coordination and synergy with global application experts with he purpose of business growth in India
• Build a effective organisation with talented resources with appropriate experiences in various mining applications
• Build and maintain strong network with key decision-makers and influencers in Mining companies and indsutry.
• Represent SNF India at industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events.
• Develop a strong sales and technical service team, coaching and mentoring them to achieve sales budgets.
• Manage and oversee a team of technical sales professionals to drive overall sales performance.
• Set clear objectives, provide ongoing support and training, and monitor team performance to ensure targets are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably in Mineral Processing or related field. A Master’s degree would be advantageous.
• Proven track record (10-15 years) in sales within the mining industry, with a focus on chemical solutions for mineral processing.
• Technical expertise in chemicals used in alumina, agglomeration, dust suppressant, briquetting, SAP, iron ore, coal, etc.
• Experience in conducting on-site laboratory trials and demonstrating product effectiveness.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Willingness to travel extensively as per business requirements.
