Designation: Manager - Retail Store Projects Fit-Outs
Reporting To: Retail Head
Communication: Internal External
Role Responsibilities
Oversee multiple store projects (20-30 stores, averaging 1500 sq. ft. each) simultaneously, managing fit-out projects, civil and interior drawings, vendor coordination, and execution.
Lead project design, planning, organization, execution, and reporting to ensure timely and quality completion.
Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and clients.
Ensure seamless store design and project execution, covering scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and cost control.
Coordinate various project phases, including preliminary design, architecture, MEP integration, material procurement, site execution, and store maintenance.
Maintain high-quality standards, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
Drive maintenance initiatives and operational store upkeep as required.
Requirements
Experience: 8 - 12 years in retail store construction, interior fit-out projects, or the building construction industry.
Expertise: Proven track record in handling end-to-end retail store projects, dealing with developers, mall management, and property owners.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of interior fit-outs, subcontractor coordination, and industry best practices.
Tech-Savvy: Ability to integrate digital and technological solutions for efficient project execution.
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Independence: Capable of managing projects with minimal supervision while handling pressure effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a structured project management framework for retail interior fit-outs within set deadlines.
Define and enforce control measures to ensure seamless project execution.
Manage and oversee the performance of the design and site delivery teams.
Ensure projects are completed on time while aligning with business objectives and design standards.
Monitor project risks, changes, and variations while maintaining cost and quality control.
Foster collaboration among stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
Act as an escalation point between departments and stakeholders to resolve challenges and ensure on-time delivery.
Prepare and present formal reports on project progress to senior management.
Qualification:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
