Senior Warehouse Specialist

Role

This role is responsible for managing transportation & courier service providers and establish good relationship with supplier, negotiating contracts and evaluating performance as per company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Leading SC related projects and exploring cost saving & process improvement opportunities
• Ensuring compliance, MIS and all the KPIs
• Proactively manages all aspects of purchasing including order placement, inventory management, Purchase returns etc from Global locations as well as local suppliers with in India.
• Timely management of multiple lines of communication between suppliers, shippers, customers, and internal parties, maintaining details.
• Managing labelling activities at Customs bonded warehouse as per applicable laws.
• Ensures ERP system is updated as per actual operational situations
• Assures compliance with customs, export, applicable foreign trade/importation laws and all internal policies and procedures
• Vendor Payment tracking and submission of bills to Finance for processing payments.
• Work with Finance on GIT, Credit Notes etc in a time bound manner.
•  Coordination with Planning Team and other SCM colleagues to provide inputs as per the agreed timelines and submission of various MIS reports to management in time.
• Managing SLAs and performance metrics

Preferred candidate profile

• Min Graduation/ Masters in Operations preferred
• 7+ Years of warehouse and EXIM experience.
• Knowledge & Experience in EXIM, Warehousing, Inventory, transportation, procurement, ERP, customs, GST & Project management.
• Good communication skill and problem solving abilities.
