Assistant Manager - Warehouse IMPEX

Job Purpose:

The position activities involved in Import and Export End to End operations including Customs clearance, compliance, customs HS tariff classification, Bill to ship to consignments & vendor management for overall Import and Export Operation for Apparel vertical. The role holder will establish/follow Import /Export Process, find opportunities for Cost Optimization by selecting reliable partners to deliver products ON TIME with shortest Lead time.

Position Title: Assistant Manager - Warehouse IMPEX

Reports to: Manager - Apparel Warehouse & Transportation

Function: Global Commercial Organization (GCO)

What youll do:

• Establish/follow the process for Import /Export logistics.
• Knowledge of all related Export/Import Documentation requirements and ensuring that the same is followed.
• Custom clearance.
• Finding suitable and reliable logistics partners.
• Cost Optimization by negotiating rates with different partners and finalizing the right partner.
• Defining country specific lead times and ensuring that same is achieved.
• SLA monitoring and ensuring on time delivery.
• Import Shipment tracking and EDD circulation to Warehouse Team for planning.
• Handling end-to-end bills to ship to consignments.
• Arranging on time duty payments for Import shipments collaboration with Finance.
• Maintain and circulate daily MIS.
• Prepare a monthly excel report for all vendor payments and process payments.
• Resolve Customs query in order to clear the shipments.
• Engage with stakeholders and provide visibility on ETA & ETD.
• Handling Event related urgent shipment and ensuring on time deliveries.
• Handling International Customer Complaints and providing resolution within specified time frame.
• Advance MS Office Skills

What you'll bring:

Experience:

• 3 - 7 years of relevant experience
• Process development experience.
• Experience in the automotive or motorcycle industry.
• Experience in Excel and SAP products
• Experience in the automotive industry

Qualification: Any Bachelor’s degree
