People needs to understand there is difference in culture of a product company and a non product company (IT, Banking). The product company such as Smith & Nephew gives you the opportunity to Learn, Grow and take the complete ownership of the designated responsibilities. A SOP driven person may not like the idea of complete accountability; therefore may dislike the company. After being part of the company for 3 years, i can proudly say i had the ample opportunities and learnings for my career wellbeing. Company has recently made internal restructuring that would improve on ERP, automation, controls and line of business. There was certain challenges which are being address right now. Moving in a right direction.
