Role Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our lending business expansion across India. This strategic role demands expertise in loan origination, business development, team leadership, and P&L management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and scaling lending operations, with strong industry connections in banks and NBFCs.
- This is a high-impact leadership position for someone who can drive lead generation, establish strategic partnerships, and optimize revenue growth in the lending sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Growth:
- Develop and execute a nationwide strategy to scale up loan origination and revenue across personal loans, business loans, home loans, education loans, and loans against property.
- Identify new lending opportunities based on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive insights.
Lead Generation & Business Expansion:
Implement effective multi-channel lead generation strategies, including:
- Digital Marketing: Social media, Google Ads, SEO, and content marketing.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with financial service providers, fintech companies, and B2B affiliates.
- Traditional Outreach: Offline marketing, networking, and event-based promotions.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for seamless loan facilitation.
- Negotiate better lending terms, credit lines, and processing efficiencies to enhance profitability.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of sales, marketing, and operations professionals, driving them toward ambitious business targets.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on excellence in client service and operational efficiency.
Operational & Financial Management:
- Oversee the entire lending process, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations and internal risk management policies.
- Monitor key financial metrics, optimize profitability, and manage the P&L for the lending division.
- Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring cost-effective growth.
Who Should Apply?
Experience & Expertise:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the lending or financial services sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role with P&L responsibility.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful lending businesses with a focus on lead generation, partnerships, and scaling operations.
- Deep understanding of credit assessment, loan processing, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Established network of contacts within banks and NBFCs in India.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinker with a growth-driven mindset.
- Expert in digital marketing and lead generation techniques.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and performance tracking.
Preferred Background:
- Candidates with experience at companies like Andromeda, Finwizz, RKPL, or similar organizations will be given preference.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
